The Cincinnati Club at 30 Garfield Place is a downtown Cincinnati wedding venue built in 1923 as a grand hotel and private club. After a full renovation in 2018, it now features four art deco ballrooms managed by McHale's Events & Catering. Marble stairs, gilded doors, crystal chandeliers. The kind of venue that makes almost any shot look expensive.
Christina and Riley were married in November. Christina got ready at home, where we captured a first look with her dad. From there, they did a second first look outside the venue, which gave us downtown architectural backdrops. Next came the ceremony at St. Anthony of Padua Maronite Catholic Church, a traditional Catholic setting with incredible natural light through the windows. Afterward, everyone headed to the Cincinnati Club for the reception, with full speeches and a surprise performance from the mother of the bride. A song and dance number with friends that had the room on its feet.
The Cincinnati Club films well because of the ballroom scale and the detail work in the architecture. Wide shots have room to breathe, close-ups have texture, and the art deco lighting holds up beautifully on camera. If you are booking the Cincinnati Club, reach out.
I've filmed at 60+ venues across Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Dayton, and beyond. If you don't see your venue, reach out. I may have worked there too.
