French Park is a Cincinnati Parks venue tucked into 275 acres of wooded hillside in the East Walnut Hills area. Operated under the Premier Park Events umbrella, it is one of the more scenic outdoor wedding venues in the city, with a historic lodge for getting ready and expansive grounds for ceremonies, portraits, and tent receptions.
Hailey and Grant were married in August. Their entire day took place at French Park. The morning started with the girls getting ready inside the lodge while the groomsmen played dice. From there, Hailey had a first look with her girls, then met Grant outside for their own first look. Grant's reaction was one of the most genuine I've captured. After portraits, the ceremony happened outdoors in beautiful sunlight, followed by emotional private vows. Cocktail hour moved between indoor and outdoor spaces, and the reception took place under a tent with strong speeches, dances, and a wide-open dance floor. As the night rolled on, the sun dropped over the treeline and gave us some of the best sunset shots of the season.
What makes French Park work so well on wedding film is the setting itself. Mature trees, rolling green space, and natural light for almost the entire day, capped by sunsets that feel made for camera. It is one of the few Cincinnati wedding venues that feels genuinely outdoor without requiring a destination drive. If you are booking French Park, reach out.
I've filmed at 60+ venues across Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Dayton, and beyond. If you don't see your venue, reach out. I may have worked there too.
