Heritage Farms at Willow Creek is a 450-acre wedding venue in Dillsboro, Indiana, within easy reach of Cincinnati, Dayton, and Louisville. The property sits in a Classified Forest Wildland Area, which gives it a character that newer rustic venues just can't replicate. At the center of it is a historic 1853 Hay Press Barn, one of only 10 barns in the state awarded the Top 10 Bicentennial Barn designation.
Makenzie and Caden were married in October. Their whole day took place at the venue. The morning started with the guys tossing a football around while the girls got ready. From there, Makenzie had a first look with her dad, followed by a first look and private vows with Caden (no audio by request, which kept the moment genuinely private). After that came a beautiful outdoor ceremony, indoor-outdoor cocktail hour, and an indoor reception with the windows thrown open to bring in the fresh fall air. The speeches stood out, and the dance floor carried the night.
